HSS provides in-house training for all our security guards and security supervisors. Training courses are delivered in a blend of lectures, discussion groups, workshops and practical role playing scenarios, supported by video footage and demonstration materials. The programmers are progressive and interactive, many culminating in a series of challenging and realistic training exercises, where you put what you’ve learned into practice.
All of our courses are designed and tailored with the client’s aims in mind and show the participants how to reduce risks, increase their effectiveness, and maximize control of any situation they’re in. Most of the courses that our security guards learned from the training are concerning prevention of fire and explosives, safety & risk awareness, access control procedures, traffic direction and control, key control and management, bomb detection and threat awareness, searching of vehicles and personnel, theft and property damage control, how to check Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and other security and safety related courses.
Furthermore, our security guards are being taught on how to be a defensive security by means of learning the “reasonable and necessary” use of force and basic understanding on the Qatar rules on Criminal Procedures in relation to their respective duties. Through highly focused training, participants gain the skills and the confidence to deal with the most arduous of circumstances.
Remedial training and re-examination will be arranged at the soonest possible time for unsuccessful participants to ensure that trainees will achieve the high standard of training as a requirement in the performance of duty. In addition to the training courses that have been studied by the National Academy for Professional Training (Basic Security, First Aid and Fire Fighting)
